Full Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo 14/03/25

Welcome to the next installment of stella star story medicine in the form of insight for the full blood moon lunar eclipse in Virgo. This is already proving to be a extremely powerful time. I know, I always say that, but when you consider how this energy is already playing out in the wider world you will probably understand.

This full moon lunar eclipse is taking place in the collective 6th house of the Zodiac. Virgo rules this house and holds power over health. I hate to get political, but NHS England has been abolished today! Although I am sure this is concerning for many, we must hold on to the potential for something new to arise that may be more beneficial for society.

I will be offering this written insight slightly differently than usual. I feel it is really important to make this information as digestible as possible and so I will be offering themes rather than diving more deeply into astrological aspects. Although, I will include them for those whom are more astrologically aware.

I am currently writing this with a hyper sense of energy and I am guessing others may be feeling this too?

The full moon lunar eclipse will take place between around 2am-7am UK time. Where as the full moon peaks at 6.55am. This is the first eclipse of 2025 and completes a 9 year cycle as the last lunar eclipse in Virgo was in 2016. It's worth considering what was happening in your life at that time to see what may be coming to an end to make way for a new beginning. Eclipses bring a special energy of release accompanied by an opportunity to set to intentions. In essence, an amplified new moon form of magic. The name 'blood moon' can sound a little unnerving however, it is just a term for the colour change of the moon as Earth's shadow passes by.

Moon in Virgo~ Virgo is the sign of the Earthly Priestess. She helps us to sort the wheat from the chaff in life. She is meticulous and likes to plan ahead. She is practical and supports us to build routine in our lives. But don't get to attached to perfection. None of us are perfect and thats ok.

In the physical body Virgo links to the digestive system and guides us to detox and improve overall health.

Moon in trine to Pluto~ In trine to the dark goddess Pluto we are reminded that some things need to dissolve to make way for the new. It is important to let these things go and release emotional attachment. Ask yourself what no longer serves you now? How can you choose to look for a higher perspective and see things differently?

Moon in sextile to Mars~ Sextile is another positive aspect and suggests that Mars will enable us to initiate new routines and practical solutions. What do you want to start now? Is there something you have been waiting to initiate? Now may be the perfect time.

Opposing Sun in Pisces~ Opposing the Sun in Pisces, we are guided not to get lost in our dreams. We need to think logically and take practical steps towards our goals. Connecting to your higher self through spiritual connection and meditation may help you at this time.

Sun conjunct Saturn trining Mars~ We are being taught that we can only take on as much as we can handle in this present moment. Consider your boundaries and find some balance through productivity and self nourishment.

Grounding ~ Due to the intense energy, it's important to ground ourselves and ensure we are connecting with nature. The sign Virgo is ruled by the Earth element, so get outside and place your feet on the Earth.

Cleansing/Detoxing ~ Virgo rules over the digestive system and prompts detoxification. Now is a great time to consider what might support your health. What addictions might you be ready to release? You can also practice yoga based twisting poses as these support detoxing in the physical body.

Crystals ~ I am usually called to offer crystals that support this energy and today I am being shown Moss Agate, Shungite and kyanite. Use these crystals in your practice to enable either releasing what no longer serves, or bringing in the new.
