The medicine we all seek resides in the sky above us. The placement of the planets and stars, the cycles of these celestial bodies, provides us with the guidance and wisdom to live in tune with nature and to walk the path that is already written.
As we embrace the Lionesses roar with the full moon in Leo, we are once again reminded of our sovereignty. At 1.53pm UK time on Wednesday 12th February 2025. Lunar moon will shine in her fullness, in her sovereignty. She is the snow moon that illuminates the wintery sky and highlights the parts of us we try to hide away. The parts that no longer serve and that wish to be released.
The full moon in Leo demonstrates a powerful phase for us as a collective. She reminds you that your ability to shine can light up the world around you. Leo is playful, kind hearted, generous, confident and loyal. She asks you to remember your inner child and awaken your creative playful spirit. Life doesn't always have to be so serious. Do you take yourself too seriously sometimes? Leo is open, loving and confident. She is the queen of everything and she sits proudly on her throne admiring her queendom. When did you last look at your life through the eyes of gratitude?
When we consider Leo as a goddess we often think of strong, proud and beautiful deities such as Sekmet from the Egyptian pantheon and Demeter from the Greek pantheon. Both have fierce qualities and both are protective and both will fight for what they believe in. Call upon these energies to help you to find that strength from within to share your authentic light with the surrounding world.
Lunar will be sitting at 24° of Leo in trine to Chiron in Aries. In opposition to Sol and Mercury conjunct in Aquarius and squaring Uranus in Taurus. It has occurred to me that sharing the position of the celestial bodies may not be uesful to everyone, so I ask you to consider my following interpretation and know that I am sharing the aspects for those whom have a deeper understanding of Astrology.
Lunar moon will be shining her light on the parts of us that have become stagnant. These aspects of ourselves that are no longer supporting our evolution both individually and collectively. What lights you up in life and what doesn't? Can you let these things go, which will make more space for you to create. In trine to Chiron the wounded healer in Aries, this Lunar phase offers a chance for healing of the self. Sol and Mercury in Aquarius suggests that communication and collaboration with others will offer you insight into your ability to create as part of a collective. By sharing the gifts from your heart you can make solid connections and create magic.
In square to Uranus in Taurus be prepared for possible shocks or surprises surrounding stability. This might sound unnerving but nothing ever stays the same. We are in a constant state of change just like the seasons and the cycles. These shifts in life enable us to learn and grow.
